Did it happen to you too that one day, for no reason, your Google Authenticator doesn't work?
Binance and Kucoin Login Problem
Currently, almost all Exchange platforms have implemented several security systems for authentication (to prevent coin theft), no longer just emails and passwords with Google antispam, but decidedly more advanced systems:
- SMS authentication
- Authentication with Google Authenticator
They are very important because without a text message or the Google app code connected to your account you cannot access the services.
So you have to physically have the phone always at hand and with data and network connection.
Google Authenticator error
All clear up here, until one day you wake up, put your data, you are asked for code and is not correct.
At first you think it's a joke, double check, try copying and pasting, try to enter it manually, watch it carefully but nothing, the code is incorrect.
After a few attempts either Binance is Kucoin they block you for a few minutes.
The only possibility that remains is to ask for Autenticator reset.

For both, the procedure is the same, I want the KYC again
- Selfie with the document, Kucoin also wants leaflet with date and name of the exchange and signature
- Front document
- Retro Document
After a few days, your account is reactivated.
Why does this happen?
I believe that there was no mistake and that for everyone or in a random way they CREATED THE PROBLEM to get the documents back again. Binance the problem happened after the loss of 7000 btc)
I find this behavior very little transparent, it was enough to send an email and request the documents, not getting up one morning and being with the blocked account (where we have our funds) and maybe we needed to move or trade.
What does it teach us?
That there are still no regulations and that unfortunately the exchanges do what they want, the solution is to keep your coins safe in your hardware wallets (See the family Ledger), so that only you are the owner and nobody blocks your account for any reason making it impossible to use your resources.
