Opera adds support for payments to its wallet

Opera, the popular web browser, said it had added support for bitcoin payments to its wallet, which is integrated into Android devices.

According to the company's press release, the cryptocurrency wallet integrated into Opera for Android, launched last year, is now able to directly support bitcoin payments and allow users to interact with decentralized applications on the blockchain TRON using TRX.

The browser claims to have a total of 350 millions of users, who can now access these two digital currencies in a convenient way.

Charles Hamel, manager of the cryptography of Opera, has expressed that the will of "open our browser to multiple blockchains, including Bitcoin, is the logical next step to make our solution more convenient for anyone with a Bitcoin wallet and want to use the currency in addition to keeping it in a "Account.

As reported by CryptoGlobe, Opera has partnered with HTC - which recently announced a new low-cost smartphone with bitcoin node functionality - to add its wallet application.
