After Amazon, WEF Wants To Partner With Shiba Inu – Will It Bring The Price Of SHIB To $2?

The latest development in town is that the World Economic Forum (WEF) is looking to work with the Shiba Inu memecoin ecosystem on a global policy. The announcement was made by Shytoshi Kusama, developer and volunteer project lead of Shiba Inu.

In a tweet on Tuesday, November 22, Kusama said he had been invited by the WEF to collaborate on a "global MV policy". The Shiba Inu developer is probably talking about the politics of the Metaverse. Addressing the community, Kusama launched a Twitter poll asking:

ShibaArmy Need a quick vote: We have been kindly invited to work with the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM regarding their global MV policy. I'd like to know what you think, because the decision is not up to us, but up to you.

Digital assets and blockchain technology have recently been the subject of discussions at several WEF events. However, it's the first time the global organization has partnered with a popular meme token.

Kusama then added that:

Yes, I'm serious. We will be at the table with policy makers and help shape the global policy for the MV together with other giants like FB (hello Zuck), Sand, Decentraland etc.

As of press time, 18.678 people voted for the poll and 62,8% said they would be great to work with the WEF on MV. Nearly 27,1% of respondents said they did not want to work with the WEF. While for the rest of 10% of respondents it does not matter.

SHIB up 8,35% amid other developments

The latest development comes as reports circulate that the Shiba Inu (quotation SHIB) is said to be starting a partnership with retail giant Amazon. As of press time, the Shiba Inu (SHIB) is trading up 8,35% to $0,000008996. However, in the context of the broader market correction, the price of SHIB has undergone a correction of more than 80% over the past year.

During the cryptocurrency bull run of 2021, Shiba Inu (SHIB) was one of the most traded altcoins in the market. In another major development, Shiba Inu Metaverse lead consultant Marcie Jastrow will represent the memecoin ecosystem at the Immerse Global Summit 2022.

Jastrow will speak at the summit starting December 5 and ending December 7, 2022 at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida. This development will certainly bring wider recognition to the Shiba Inu on a global front.

At the event, Jastrow will shed light on the development of the entire Shiba Inu ecosystem. He will share the stage with speakers from major companies such as Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta), Microsoft (MSFT), web3equity and TerraZero. More than 2022 people will attend the Immerse Global Summit 1.000, including more than 300 company representatives, more than 200 speakers and more than 20 vertical industries.
