Ripple's partnership with currency specialists MercuryFX, the Cuallix financial institution and the cooperative financial company Catalyst Corporate Credit Union was also announced by Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, a few days ago, at the Ripple Swell conference in San Francisco.

Among the main details provided, the fact that xRapid works by connecting different currencies around the world, allowing payment providers and banks to handle cross-border transactions faster than ever. This led Garlinghouse to predict that by the end of 2019 there will be "dozens" of banks that will use xRapid.
