Dogecoin's price has lost value over the past few weeks, as cryptocurrency fallout has continued to impact the meme coin space.
DOGE loses importance in the meme coin space
Twitter's takeover of Elon Musk has given some fuel to the puppy coin and the price of DOGE (find out here the quotation real-time) briefly rose more than 3x after he joined as CEO.
However, the pump has not been sustained and the price has retraced back to square one. This natural retracement was accompanied by the complete collapse of the FTX exchange, which sent shockwaves to the entire sector.
Fortunately, the project for a new meme coin known as Tamadoge has seen exponential growth over the past few weeks.
After raising $19 million at Tamadoge's pre-sale, the team has taken the project from strength to strength, with a market cap currently of $22 million, with a fully diluted market cap of $44 million. Tamadoge has recovered much of the value and market share that Dogecoin was losing.
Tamadoge continues to list on other exchanges
Tamadoge team has already managed to get listed on several exchanges such as OKX, Uniswap, MEXC Global, Bitget, BitMart and CoinEx.
The more exchanges the Tamadoge team is able to list, the more it is able to attract liquidity to the project, and centralized exchanges provide an easy launch pad for cryptocurrency newbies to join the crypto ecosystem.
The Tamaverse is a custom designed metaverse
Tamadoge wants to differentiate itself from other meme coins in the space by highlighting the range of utilities offered by the platform.
Most notably, the team is creating its own metaverse, known as the Tamaverse, where members of the Tamadoge community will be able to play games and earn rewards for their efforts.
Building in artificial reality
One of the Tamadoge team's goals is to build in artificial reality. Given that the name "Tamadoge" comes from the mix of Tamagotchi and Doges aesthetics, it is logical that the project takes this route.
According to Tamadoge's white paper, the team is currently working on integrating with artificial reality.
