The co-founder and CEO (CEO) of Facebook, sister of Mark Zuckerberg, Randi Zuckerberg, joined the advisory team of Huobi, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world.

According to a report by NewsBTC, Randi is collaborating to be able to share with Huobi some evolutions for its blockchain, starting from basic technology to its industrial applications, then moving on to commercial modeling.

According to what emerges from the press, the project Huobi Chain will provide individuals and organizations with a reliable financial protocol for value exchange, fundraising and securitization.

Randi, a Harvard graduate, worked for six years on Facebook and is the founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media, chief editor of Dot Complicated and creator of an animated television program called Dot. She was nominated for an Emmy and was among the 50 Digital Power Players in 2010.

Recall that at the beginning of 2018 Facebook had banned all announcements related to criptovaluta, including those that promote financial products and services associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options and initial coin offers.

However, in June, Facebook has chosen to cancel the decision to openly prohibit cryptographic announcements and has allowed the publication of related content by pre-approved advertisers, while prohibiting ads that promote binary options and initial coin offers.

Mark Zuckerberg subsequently expressed interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency, and made it clear that he intends to study all aspects of cryptocurrencies to solve important Facebook problems.
