Born in 2012, it is today one of the most prominent and respected virtual currencies of financial institutions, which not by chance have started partnerships and experiments with the Ripple network. Its market capitalization exceeds 48 billion dollars, and its 2017 performance is + 20.503%.
NEM
In first place we find instead NEM, cryptocurrency born in the 2015 and, unlike the others, founded on a centralized and pre-issued system. Even NEM, like Ripple, has announced that it has made several particularly important alliances between institutions and other technology companies. Its market capitalization is considerably lower than that of Ripple (it does not reach 8 billion) but has grown by 26.213% in the 2017.
